Libya's Tripoli Radio on 1251 kHz Medium Waves as was received locally here in Dorset, Southern UK. Good propagation helps, I wish my language skills did too ! For anyone who can understand Arabic (unfortunately, I cannot), I have also found this Libyan stream on the Internet: http://libya.blog-video.tv/ The streams at http://www.voiceofafrica.com.ly/ dont' seem to be operational as shown on this video. Greetings, DorsetRadio
When reception allows both anti-government and government Libyan radio is recorded and upload to YouTube for the sake of complete information sharing, from both camps in this dispute. UNFORTUNATELY Qaddafi & Co's JUNTA's promises are broken all the time, buying him time and fooling any opposition with his PROPAGANDA machine, till he bulldozes and eliminates his opponents. That's how his dictatorship has survived for OVER 40 YEARS (!!!) . How can the world be signing contracts with such a cunning dictator, it's beyond understanding. LIBYA has become a FAMILY BUSINESS for uneducated QADDAFI and his children ! BOYCOTT QADDAFI"s OIL, NOT A DROP FROM HIS KILLING REGIME ! NO SUPPORT FOR HIS PROPAGANDA MACHINE ! NEVER-EVER !
When radio reception allows, both sides' stations are received and uploaded to YouTube. This is Tripoli Radio on 1251 kHz, as received on March 20 2010. NOT A DROP OF OIL FROM KILLER DICTATOR QADDAFI & Co! NO SUPPORT FOR BLOOD THIRSTY UNELECTED FAT CATS! NEVER-EVER!
News in English as received today March 01, 2011 from Tripoli Radio itself on 1251 kHz Medium Waves. Reception not to be hi-fi as expected. Have also received their French news bulletin which will be uploading at some point
This supplements the news bulletin in English uploaded a bit earlier and also provides the news in FRENCH too !!
In a crisis, if possible both sides are reported. This is Tripoli Radio on a different frequency t his time. This is the regime's radio station, as it was received today April 09, 2011. Regards, Dorset Radio
caught by chance - I cannot remember having heard anything else than Talk Sport on this frequency in the past 20 years
